Israelis vote Oct. 27 for the 26th Knesset. A running average from Israel Votes 2026 put Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's bloc at about 54 seats on Oct. 12, short of the 61 needed to govern, with the Zionist opposition near 49 and Arab parties near 13.
Two polls released Tuesday, for i24NEWS and Channel 16, gave Likud 27 and 18 seats. Both put former military chief Gadi Eisenkot's Yashar party at 21, Matzav reported. The Times of Israel notes that 38 parties are running, but no more than 15 are likely to clear the 3.25% threshold, so small parties could decide the outcome.
The Times of Israel also reported that Netanyahu urged a renewed strike on Iran before the vote. His office denies seeking a war before the elections.
