A Russian strike on a former school building in the frontline village of Komyshuvakha, which Ukraine said was used to distribute aid every Monday, killed 33 people, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said late Tuesday, Euronews reported. "Five people were rescued and more than 50 may still be trapped under the rubble," he said, calling it "one of the largest Russian killings of this war."

Danielle Bell, head of the U.N. human rights monitoring mission in Ukraine, said: "Either the Russian armed forces knew that there was a humanitarian distribution taking place, or they failed to take the most basic steps to find out what was happening in this village." The strike came after a ceasefire in the Kherson region ended at the weekend. A Russian strike on a hospital in Kharkiv also wounded dozens on Tuesday, Zelenskyy said.

Zelenskyy, the Kremlin and Washington confirmed their negotiators will meet in Abu Dhabi on Nov. 10-11, the first three-way talks since February. In Berlin, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz said, "I do not see" Russia seriously engaging in negotiations so far.
